GAY IE BOOKSHELF:
“A Wolf at the Table”

Augusten Burroughs’ latest book, “A Wolf at the Table: A Memoir of My Father,” was released in paperback in March. The story recounts the gay author’s troubled relationship with his dad. Burroughs is perhaps best known for his book “Running With Scissors,” which was made into a movie a couple of years back. His other books have dealt his his struggle with sobriety, “Dry,” and his career in advertising, “Sellevision.” He also wrote the books of essays “Magical Thinking” and “Possible Side Effects.”
